Some years it is just a lot of work and depressing . I think everyone gets that . I am surprised that I feel this way . Last year I did not even put up my usual tree . I get a real tree from a farm and then chip it afterwords for the compost . I have decorations from all the stages of m y life and enjoy bring them all out and loading up the tree with lights . I have already planed three baking days in advance of Christmas . We are having the male at Sydney's house this year . I will buy the turkey and cook it for her . Mom will do the Potatos and gravy . We are baking gluten free cookies this year . I better start looking at recipes .
I am even in a shopping mood and I hate shopping . Rally , hate it . I do not have much to get so that is good . Not sure what to get Steve yet . I am getting a great deal on a gift for syd and stu . They need knives , for slicing etc . I found a great deal at Canadian tire . A 200 $ knife set in a block with scissors and 6 steak knives , as well as the whole set of knives for the block ......for .....only. 30 $ . There were none there but I got a rain check and hope they come in the store soon . What a great deal and for exactly what they need .
So that is it fr now , my first blog in a long time . Now lets see if I can add a photo . Looks like I have to go into my setting to get a photo here . Wish me luck .
